AxieLeaks with Shade, episode 6!

As the channel mod, i have to say that the last days were not easy and pretty tiring. We all discovered that Ronin Bridge were exploited and the hacker took a huge part of ETH/USDC, more than 500 million dollars.

It would be stupid to say that it doesn’t hurt, especially when you spend 70+ hours per week to help the community discovering Axie. For sure there are many questions that need answers about this situation but i still trust the team. I am pretty sure they will find a way to get back on their feet and open again our Katana website and Ronin Bridge. We don’t know how long it will take to get back to “normal” situation, but until we have some answers, just don’t come on Discord to shit on the project. If you never came in Discord before this incident to spend a good time with the community or help beginners by answering your questions, then continue to avoid Discord. You have a beautiful place called Twitter to write all your shit stuff and don’t be surprised to be banned after 15 minutes in Discord for spreading fake informations or insults. We don’t need that.

It’s pretty funny to see how people think about me just because i do several bans after hacking announcement. They spend 1 hour, 20 messages with us but they already have an opinion about all the work you did for 8 months, 2000 hours, 60.000 messages and hundreds of scammer removed from Discord.
But it’s okay, it’s impossible to be “loved” by everyone. And i prefer to see you exploding on twitter because i will never see your messages than inside Discord where new players and beginners just want some help.

Today we got an announcement about Origin launch. We will finally get the chance to play the new game in 7 days for players who use a computer. We got a nice trailer and a nice schedule! Unfortunately The Guillotine Post won’t have the chance to share exclusive Runes or Charms but maybe next time! Who knows…

With this big announcement, Shade and Pos2 came on Discord for a ton of leaks about the new gameplay. I hope you have several minutes to read this article because we have tons of questions/answers. Enjoy!

Question : Does this mean runes and charms will be also released at the launch?

Shade : Yes! Runes and charms will be in the alpha!

Question : Can we play origin on MacOs?

Shade : Yes you will be able to.

Question : Can we use Olek and friends in arena or no???

Shade : Yes you can, but they will get demolished by triple aquas.

Question : Does the Reptile show in the Trailer is using the Chomp? My Termi will look like that?

Shade : Machito is a starter axie.

Question : No more souls after death staying around in Origin?

Shade : Need room for summons.

Question : In the trailer, why did the shoal star bypass the 2 axies? Is there a charm attached to it?

Shade : The axie in the back had taunt. If you see a card with a blue border, that means a charm is attached to it.

Question : If you initial a backdoor card like shrimp, the 2nd attack card of the axie who uses shrimp will also attack the furthest or go back to front?

Shade : Front.

Question : You said in your twitter there are 1pp cost charms. So why do you say that secret classes can't equip their charms. Meaning there are no 1pp cost charms for them??

Shade : There are neutral class charms that are 1pp. But there are no class-specific charms that are less than 2pp cost.

Question : Dmg boost and healing boost stack forever right?

Shade : Confirrrrrrmed!

Question : To equip mystic charm which is the highest and the strongest you need 15 pp?

Shade : To equip ONE mystic charm you only need 4 of the same class parts, because 4 matching class parts give you +2 purity bonus. So thats 6 pp.

Question : Does the shield carry over the next round?

Shade : No.

Question : Shade, can you clarify the "endless anger" rune? The 3 rage is given at the start of each turn? that would mean the fury form guaranteed at our turn 4 no matter how many "rage cards" our beast have equipped...That doesnt make sense then!

Shade : You read that right. Good luck getting that rune though. Imagine triple beast team, all have endless anger and 1 +rage skill. You can have turn 1 FURY.

Question : When can we see how our axies will look in origin?

Pos2 : You'll see them at launch.

Question : Yall noticed on the video there's a reptile with 505 HP? so not all axies will have 320 hp?

Pos2 : Runes and Charms.

Question : Can we summon 3 same class type? Like tripple robin summon?

Pos2 : Yes.

Question : What is Stamina? Is that new term for energy?

Pos2 : Yes. And there is a new mechanic called Ronin Spirit.

Question : If Origin is mature enough,is our progress during alpha will be reset along the official release of origin?

Pos2 : Yes, it will be reset.

Question : 1 axie = 2 or more of the same charm. And you can disassemble it for recrafting?

Pos2 : Yes, this is possible. You can disassemble them but you will not get the full amount of what you initially used to craft them.

Question : Can we unequip the crafted runes and charms to transfer to another axie?

Pos2 : Yes.

Question : Pos2 as we equip does it eat up the PP (Potential Point)?

Pos2 : For charms yeah, and the UI will show how much potential points you have left.

Question : Based on what you and shade is implying, it would be hard getting charms and runes. reallistically speaking, will you be able to craft and equip charms and runes for all your axie within a season?

Pos2 : Possible yeah. Runes have rarity. Some common runes are very easy to get. The rarest ones like Endless Anger are really difficult to have.

Comment : Is the difficulty related to price in slp and Moonshards, or there is some randomness on finding good runes?

Pos2 : There's randomness and there are items that can increase the chance of you getting a rune/charm or rarity etc.

Question : Runes don't have points requirement right?

Pos2 : None. You just need to install them to the correct class type.

Question : Are runes and charms consumable or can be use for the whole season?

Pos2 : You can use them for the whole season. You can disenchant them but you will not get the full amount of the initial ingredients you used for crafting the Rune/Charm.

Comment : So after the season end , they will expire and we will have to craft them again?

Pos2 : Some will expire, some will be carried over.

Question : Also crafting the rune will provide a random rune or u can choose what u wanna craft?

Pos2 : There will be RNG. There will be items that will increase your chances though.

Question : Will there be a way to identify in the battle which runes, charmes the enemy has before encountering the effect?

Pos2 : I already had them memorized right now. But yeah, you can click on the Axie and you will know if they have Charms/Runes installed.

Pos2 : Yeah and there are Rune indicators, with hexagon above the Axie.

Question : Will my low purity axies not have access to the stronger runes?

Pos2 : Runes depend on the body/class types. No potential points needed.

Question : Are charms and runes tradable in the mp?

Pos2 : The NFT runes/charms will be. Can't wait to get an Endless Anger rune and sell it for 420 ETH.

Comment : based on the rune name, i suppose your axie is at infinite rage status meaning unlimited criticals?

Pos2 : When your Axie is in Fury mode, the damage of that Axie will be x2 until the end of your turn. So Chubby is kinda like Yurnero's ult.

Question : I'm hoping there will be tutorials in-game. it will suck teaching every scholar again.

Pos2 : There's a tutorial. Everything will be unlocked by doing the tutorial.

Comment : hopefully the tutorial won't be skipped easily so players will not just keep clicking with out learning, then play and complain that they don't understand hahaha.

Pos2 : You can't skip the tutorial. You wouldn't be able to click anything if you don't finish them.

Comment : That's a nice feature. to be honest. like they will be forced to learn it rather than skip and just ask later or complain that it's hard to understand.

Pos2 : Yeah, they wouldn't be able to play Arena immediately.

I think that is one of the biggest article i wrote since the beginning and i hope you liked it!
